Mazatlan is known as the “Pearl of the Pacific” because sandy beaches stretch for 15 miles from one end of town all the way to the other. Just offshore you will see three islands with palm trees swaying and even more beaches. The Malecon is a paved sidewalk which runs next to the beach in Mazatlan for 12 miles from El Mirador near the Centro Historico all the way to Valentinos Disco in the Golden Zone, allowing you to bike, roller blade, jog, or walk along the beach enjoying the people, food, and nightlife of this beautiful paradise.
